But I can't wait.
While the kids (and Joe) rode some of the rides, I was playing with the camera trying to get some creative shots of all the fair lights and activities. These may not be original in creativity but I think they turned out pretty neat.

This shot makes it appear like the ride is super fast! But it's not.
3.0 sec, 1/16, iso 500

The framing is bad on this one but it's the only shot I could get. The ride ended
1.0 sec, 1/16, iso 500

The swings! I have this shot with red lights, too!
0.80 sec, 1/22, iso 1000

The ferris wheel was so fun. I took several shots of it
because the lights kept changing.
1.0 sec, 1/20, iso 1000

Tahlia and Joe are on this one!
0.60 sec 1/22, iso 400

I'll post kids-at-the-fair picture tomorrow.
PS. This week at You Capture was photographer's choice. So, since I think these shots are pretty good, I'm using them. :D

Beautiful colors! I actually quite like the offset framing of the photo you only got one of. What a fun take on a fair!

Whoa...that's really cool! They're all really great, but something about the fourth one (I guess they're swings?) really stands out. Great captures!
great shots!
These are so cool! And I really like the framing on the third shot. What a fun place to experiment with some photography!
